About
"You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves."
— Mary Oliver, Wild Geese
What if the struggle in your relationship isn't the problem — what if it is an invitation? An invitation to understand yourself more deeply. To listen differently. To discover new ways of being with one another. To transform conflict into connection. To strengthen your capacity for intimacy.
You may find yourselves stuck in cycles you never intended to create. One of you reaches while the other withdraws. One criticizes while the other shuts down. Both of you long to feel understood, loved, and connected — yet somehow keep missing each other.
Whether you are navigating communication challenges, recurring arguments, life transitions, betrayal, disconnection, or simply a longing to feel closer, couples or individual therapy can be a space to slow down and explore what is happening beneath the surface.
I believe healing is rooted in connection. I believe that as we learn to meet ourselves more fully, we often discover a greater capacity to meet others more fully as well. I view healing as the process of bringing more awareness, acceptance, and relationship to the parts of ourselves we may have pushed away, silenced, or misunderstood.
Drawing from somatic practices and parts-oriented work, I support individuals and couples in exploring the deeper stories, emotions, and protective patterns that shape your life and relationships. Together, we will strengthen your capacity to listen to the wisdom of the body, approach difficult experiences with curiosity, and cultivate compassion for the many parts of yourself that have emerged along the way.
Therapy is about more than solving problems — it is about expanding our capacity to have the full human experience of grief, joy, uncertainty, love, and meaning. You do not have to walk the path alone.
