About Our Services

Natural Bridges Therapy provides licensed psychotherapy and counseling services in the State of California. All clinical services are provided by licensed or supervised clinicians in compliance with California law, including the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations.

The content on this website is for informational purposes only. Browsing this site or submitting a contact form does not establish a therapeutic relationship.

Fees & Payment

Session fees are listed on each therapist's profile page and are due at the time of service. Rates may vary slightly by therapist and session type. We will always discuss fees with you before beginning services and give you advance notice of any rate changes.

We do not bill insurance directly. Upon request, we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement. A sliding scale is available — please reach out to discuss your situation.

Cancellation Policy

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged the full session fee.

Exceptions may be made in genuine emergencies at your therapist's discretion. If you have concerns about this policy, please speak with your therapist directly.

Services for Minors

Therapy services for clients under 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to the start of services. Consent is collected through our client portal, Sessions Health.

By providing consent, parents and guardians acknowledge that certain information shared by a minor in the course of therapy may be kept confidential in accordance with California law and clinical best practices. Your child's therapist will discuss the limits of confidentiality with you before services begin.

Telehealth Services

Online therapy is available to residents of California. By participating in telehealth sessions, you confirm that you are physically located in California at the time of the session. Full telehealth informed consent — including technology requirements, privacy considerations, and what happens if a connection fails — is provided as part of our clinical intake process through Sessions Health.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and design — is the property of Natural Bridges Therapy and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without prior written permission.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Therapy is a collaborative process and outcomes vary by individual. We are deeply committed to providing skilled, ethical, and evidence-informed care — but we cannot guarantee specific results. If at any point you feel the work isn't serving you, we encourage you to speak openly with your therapist.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Natural Bridges Therapy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Santa Cruz County, California.
